    Orchestrated and implemented marketing plan for locally owned retail chain. Designed and guided production of monthly newsletter, negotiated promotions with vendors, managed coop funds and internal marketing budget, initiated new vendor relationships, and authored informational materials, including brochures and training manuals. Designed and created instore merchandising and product packaging. Organized large promotional events with over 80 vendor/ non profit groups and 7,000 attendees. Supervised and managed web site development and production of media advertising, including print, radio, billboards and television. Had final content and creative control over entire company advertising/marketing vision. Acted as liaison with local animal rescue groups and shelters. Acted as the public relations representative for the entire company, representing Mounds at trade shows, exhibitions and other public events, responding to customer correspondence, and directed Mounds' charitable donations.

    Proficient in German and French. Attended university in Mannheim, Germany for one semester. Excellent written and oral English language skills.

    Foster parent for the Dane County Humane Society, rehabilitating sick or immature cats and getting them ready for adoption. Volunteer at the Dane County Farmers market for Luna Circle Farm, a local woman owned and operated organic farm.
