Abe says that all web sites are just
technological vanity mirrors, or something like that,
so I feel a bit odd looking into that mirror to write
something here as an introduction to me. After all,
if a web site is nearly 100% for the authors' vanity,
then why bother to write about yourself. I don't need
to look here to remember my birthday or where I work
or what I do with my free time. |

- 5' 6" tall
- Round in shape
- Often younger than I
feel and older than I look
- Prone to wearing black,
buying expensive shoes, and listening to public
radio
- Email: my first name @ a telephone company
that
used to be chorus.net
- Botanist by schooling,
Marketroid by necessity
- Naysayer by nature
- One time poet and potter,
some time writer, photographer and chef
- I have a very green thumb
and hate turf grass
- A bit like Martha Stewart,
if she had been raised by atheist anarchists,
played competitive soccer, had too many pets
and never wore dresses. And I have better hair.

I know those things already. And if
you, as a viewer are reading this, you probably know
me well enough to answer all of those questions anyway.
And if you don't, then you've probably googled here
by mistake or followed some link for cool photos or
Abe's CV, and gotten lost. But in case you don't know
already or you've been recently hit on the head and
developed amnesia and this is the only web address written
on your body in sharpie (then you're probably me anyway),
here I am. |
