Stroganoff


 

2 lbs chuck steak, cut in strips

3 cubes beef bouillon

2 cups water

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 T dry mustard

4 bay leaves

2 cups chopped onions

4 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz. fresh mushrooms (or more), sliced

2 T flour

12 oz sour cream

Instructions:

Sauté onions, garlic, salt and pepper in a bit of oil until translucent.

Add sliced beef, water, bay leaves, mustard and boullion, and cook until meat is tender.

Add mushrooms and adjust seasoning as needed.

Add flour and cook until sauce thickens.

Reduce heat, and add sour cream. Be careful that mixture does not boil .

Serve over egg noodles (or any other kind of noodle you like!)
