This photo gallery is from the spectacular
aurora show of November 7, 2003 featuring curtains,
waves, streaks, vortices, and quick pulses of green,
yellow, orange, red, and even violet.
This little movie shows a fly-by of
the International Space Station. The images were taken
with a digital camera connected to an 8 inch telescope.
The space station and other satellites can be easily
seen by looking up the precise location and time of
visible passes overhead on www.heavens-above.com.
